Rides, slides, and fireworks! It’s all about family fun at the Patterson Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival. There will be a big variety of rides including a large carousel, Hurricane Tornado, and Dragon Wagon, as well as bumper cars and game booths to delight all ages. A wheel of fortune, 50/50 raffle, assorted food trucks, and an ice cream vendor round out the choices. Also available will be a selection of tasty offerings from the fire department’s own pavilion kitchen including hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage-and-pepper wedges, and everyone’s favorite fried dough and fried Oreos.
This year, the festivities run from Wednesday, July 3, through Saturday, July 6. Start times are Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., Friday at 5:00 p.m., and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. until closing. Step off time for the parade on Friday, July 5, is 7:00 p.m. Expect fantastic fireworks after dark on Saturday.
The carnival will be held on the fire department grounds at 13 Burdick Road and Route 311 in Patterson. Admission to the carnival is free, and wristbands will be on sale every day for unlimited rides.
