Author Marian Grudko will be presenting
at the first Pawling Library Writer’s Workshop.
You have 10 seconds to catch the attention of an editor or a reader. Can anything be more crucial than your opening sentence? Well, yes – the second sentence! All are welcome at the Pawling Library on Thursday, June 27, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for A Writer’s Workshop Part 1: The Opening Sentence. This program is the first in a series of writer’s workshops where presenter Marian Grudko will discuss this important topic and more. Grudko will also be available to take a look at your writing problems. Is she judgmental? No. Is her editing ruthless? Oh, yeah. Bring in your writing and prepare to learn.
Marian Grudko is a writer, editor, storyteller and composer, who has created musical pieces to accompany her written work. She is the author of Lucinda Snowdrop.
