Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Employees

June 14, 2019

The Pawling Library is collaborating with the Trinity-Pawling School for an important presentation on Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Employees.

In New York State, employers must, by law, provide employees with sexual harassment prevention training. At this free program, you will learn to identify all the various prohibited forms of sexual harassment and understand what you can do to make sure that you remain safe in the work environment. The goal of this program is to give employees the tools to empower themselves against sexual harassment. Employers who send their employees to this program must, at their place of business, review with each employee their own sexual harassment prevention policy to satisfy this statewide training requirement.

The program will take place at the Trinity-Pawling School on Wednesday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Laurie DelBalzo, Director of Human Resources of the Trinity-Pawling School, will be the presenter. This informative in-person training class is highly recommended for any employed individuals. The Trinity-Pawling School is located at 700 Route 22 in Pawling.

To register for this program, please call the Pawling Library at (845) 855-3444, or send an email to Donald at Adult@PawlingLibrary.org.
