Jacque’s Spin on Music Live Music in the Lower Harlem Valley

April 25, 2019

I hope you’re getting out to enjoy the live music scene in Pawling. Please don’t hesitate to contact me when you hear about live music events in the area. If you’re looking for something to do tonight (April 26) catch Davina & the Vagabonds at 8:00 p.m. at the Hubbard Court on the Trinity-Pawling School Campus. This nostalgic band appeals to all generations featuring Davina on vocals and keyboard, accompanied by a trumpet, trombone guitar, bass and drums. Tickets for the concert are available at the Book Cove and for individual purchase at the door.

The Clock Tower Grill offers live music on Friday nights. One band I’d like to catch on Friday, May 17, is the funky, roots rock and blues group, The Libertine Project. The band’s founding member, Andy Kuusisto, has been a frequent guest on Jacque’s Giant Music Show, and Pawling Public Radio is a big supporter of his original music.

I’ve also got a booking at Daryl’s House Club to tell you about. Pluck and Rail, an Americana Bluegrass band returns Saturday, April 27, for Saturday brunch. The band sold out last spring, and the venue accommodated their large following by opening the patio doors. Many unlucky folks were sent home hungry and disappointed. If you want to catch the set, reserve a seat and go early. I’d hate to see you miss this show on Saturday!

While I’m on the subject of Daryl’s House Club . . . I have a pair of General Admission tickets to give away for the Deborah Bonham show on Thursday, May 9. If you would like to be eligible to win these tickets, please contact me by email at JacquesGiantShow@gmail.com.
