Harlem Valley Car Club Supports Pawling Resource Center

The Pawling Resource Center (PRC) has once again received a generous donation from The Harlem Valley Car Club (HVCC), which has made regular donations to the PRC over the last several years. A non-profit organization, HVCC is “more than just a car club,” with more than 100 registered members. The group hosts a weekly “car cruise” in the Village of Pawling on Wednesday nights from April to September. Their latest act of generosity was to present a donation of $750 to support the numerous programs offered by the Resource Center.

These cruises, along with other events, help raise the funds the club uses to support local organizations, such as food pantries, veteran’s organizations, and Toys for Tots. HVCC also offers an annual scholarship to a local student pursuing a career in automotive technology. Funds to support the club’s charitable donations are made possible through the ongoing efforts of its members and the sponsors who support them.

Harlem Valley Car Club members enjoy their time together and are happy to have a positive impact on the community. The Pawling Resource Center appreciates the support from this local group and was able to put their most recent donation into purchases for the food pantry during the December holidays.

Donations to the Pawling Resource Center are always welcome and may be sent to the PRC at 126 East Main Street in Pawling. Information about the PRC’s services may be found by visiting PawlingResouceCenter.org online.
