Donal Fox Inventions Trio to Play in Pawling on October 19
Donal Fox and his Inventions Trio – piano, percussion and bass – will present the "Scarlatti Jazz Suite Project" at the Pawling Concert Series on October 19. A fusion of jazz influenced by Baroque, Afro-Latin, and classical music, the program is the work of pianist/composer/improviser Donal Fox who has presented his visionary takes on jazz and its antecedents at Lincoln Center, Tanglewood, and Carnegie Hall.
The concert, the first of PCS's 45th season, will be held at 8:00 pm at Gardiner Theater on the Trinity Pawling School campus. Tickets are available on line at www.pawlingconcertseries.org, at the Book Cove in Pawling Village, and at the door on the night of the concert. Adult tickets are $30; children 12 and under are admitted without charge.
The Pawling Concert Series is presented, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature, and through funding from Dutchess Tourism, administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
In addition, this series has been generously underwritten by: Andron Construction, Castagna Realty, and Joseph Meunier & Sons. For further information on the Pawling Concert Series, including directions and future concerts, visit www.pawlingconcertseries.org.
