Early next month, the Pawling Central School District will host the following event: “Pawling School District and Community Collaborative: Learning Together to Support our Children.”
The evening program will be held on November 7 at Pawling Middle School from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. featuring a collection of learning opportunities for families of students in grades K-12.
Topics will include talking to your child about race and identity, inclusive classrooms, the impacts of technology on children and teens, managing challenging behaviors, student anxiety and emotional distress, bringing social-emotional learning home, managing school stress, young adult literature book talk, “tune in, breathe, reset,” reading to relate, and how to be a leader in your commUNITY.
A collaborative group of school district and community professionals in child and adolescence mental health have developed this learning opportunity. Childcare and Spanish language interpretation are available. All participants must pre-register.
