Back to the Garden 1969 Kicks Off 13th Season
Back to the Garden 1969 will bring “The Woodstock Experience” to Lakeside Park on July 14.
This summer marks the 13th year of Pawling’s free concerts by the lake. This year, Music By The Lake organizers are pleased to announce the return of Back to the Garden 1969 to kick off their new season.
A favorite of Pawling concertgoers, the band will bring “The Woodstock Experience” to Lakeside Park on Saturday, July 14. Back to the Garden 1969 will perform a wide variety of classic songs associated with the Woodstock Music Festival, including acoustic and electric rock, acid rock, folk music, and soul. The musical performances are a tribute to the artists who made Woodstock great and are authentically performed in the style of those artists. Band members are Gary Adamson (drums, guitars, percussion, vocals), Annie Masciandaro (drums, percussion, vocals), Tom Sprock (bass, vocals), Geoff Hartwell (guitar, vocals) and Benny Harrison (keyboards, vocals).
Music By The Lake concerts are held on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. at the pavilion at Lakeside Park. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in the adjoining Lathrop Building at Lakeside Park. As always, all concerts are presented free of charge.
Guests are urged to bring picnic baskets, coolers, blankets, and folding chairs. For the performance of Back to the Garden 1969, attendants are also encouraged to break out their tie-dye, put on their sandals, and wear some flowers in their hair on July 14 as they journey back to Woodstock.
