Village of Pawling Accepting Applications for Pedestrian Task Force
The Village of Pawling will be working in conjunction with the Dutchess County Transportation Council (DCTC) to complete a Sidewalk Inventory and Improvement Plan. The goal is to enhance walkability by improving our pedestrian safety routes throughout the village and linking to the town. The Board of Trustees is creating a Pedestrian Task Force to be composed of local citizens to work in concert with the Board, DCTC, grant writers, and other appointed experts, consultants and departments on an inventory as needed for six to twelve months or until a detailed report can be completed. If you are selected, the time commitment will be approximately four to five hours a month for up to twelve months. If you are interested, please visit VillageofPawling.org and fill out an application form. Forms must be submitted by May 19, 2018, to email@example.com or by mail to Village of Pawling at 9 Memorial Avenue, Pawling, NY 12564. All applications will be reviewed and forwarded to the Task Force Chairperson for consideration.
