Residents and visitors are invited to browse and buy these great deals (with free admission) on Saturday, May 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Early Birds may explore all offerings for only $25.00 on Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m. and will have exclusive access until 9:30 a.m., when the doors will open to the general public.) The sale will continue the following weekend on Saturday, May 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Bag Sale pricing at $5.00 per bag!
The sale is one of the largest in the region with over 25,000 books, all superbly organized into more than 40 categories with hardcover books totaling 70% of all available books for sale. Great prices and diverse titles make this an outstanding opportunity for book lovers of all ages. There is a large selection of DVDs and CDs, as well.
As a special treat for book loving children, the Library has arranged for two popular, local children’s authors to attend the sale on opening weekend. Both will be available for book signings. On May 12, Jennifer Morfea, author of The Gentle Boa and The Little Hyena will be on hand, and on May 13, Carol Paterno, author of Slippery Soap and Swan Pond will be in attendance.
The book sale is a major fundraiser for the library, with all proceeds benefiting library programs and services. For more information, call (845) 855-3444, or visit PawlingLibrary.org online.
