Small Business Saturday at The Book Cove

In honor of Small Business Saturday, November 25, The Book Cove, located in the Village of Pawling on Charles Colman Blvd., will be hosting Hudson Valley author, John Leonard Pielmeier. A playwright, actor, and novelist Mr. Pielmeier will be autographing his latest work Hook’s Tale, a novel written in the style of a memoir by Capt. Hook. With lyrical prose, Mr. Pielmeier has created a work that deserves to be read aloud. This is no wonder once you read his resume. He has written the screenplay for the mesmerizing movie Agnes of God, starring Jane Fonda. Additionally he has written The Memory Keeper’s Daughter, Hitler: The Rise of Evil, and most famously the screen adaptation of Ken Follett’s Pillars of the Earth. Viewers of the show will know him as the tortured monk Cuthbert. This event will be held at 11:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public. To ensure an autographed copy, attendees are encouraged to pre-order a copy of the book. To learn more about the Book Cove online, visit PawlingBookCove.com.
