James Earl Jones Narrates New PRC Video

by Susan Stone

Award-winning actor and Pawling resident James Earl Jones has donated his time, talent, and familiar, sonorous voice as narrator of a recently created, four-minute video produced by Frank Matheis, a member of the Pawling Resource Center’s (PRC) Board of Directors. In June, Matheis and his crew of three organized the filming at the center’s facility at 126 East Main Street in Pawling and at several locations throughout the town and village.

Matheis, a marketing and public relations professional, volunteered his expertise to conceive and oversee the production of the inspiring and informative short film, titled “The Pawling Resource Center – Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” The video will be used to highlight the many programs and services available at the center. Music for the soundtrack was composed and performed by Pawling resident Chris Farrell. Felipe Galindo served as videographer. Sound recording was provided by JLK Productions of Hopewell Junction, NY. Volunteers and staff as well as several PRC board members participated in the filming.
