Resource Center Remembers Lost Friends

by Susan Stone

Over this last year, the Pawling Resource Center Board of Directors, Volunteers, Staff and Clients have mourned the loss of community members whose presence, voluntarism, and leadership at the Center made a difference.

Included among these special, longtime friends are:

Nada Davis, active volunteer, donor and Board Member Emeritus, who passed away in January. Nada’s generosity of time and spirit was inspiring.

Judy Segal, a volunteer driver for the Center, providing vital transportation services to those in need of access to medical appointments.

Carol Hackman, Joyce Van Keuren, and Meg Whitcomb, Pawling residents and active community members, who were all friends of the PRC, and used the Center’s transportation services.

Bernie Kinzer, Joe Famularo, Lowell Thomas, Jr., Rusty Smith, Fred and Roberta Cersosimo, Everett Ballard, Paul Drensek, and Margaret Joyce, all Resource Center friends whose support and lasting generosity will forever be remembered.

The Pawling Resource Center honors the memory of all of these thoughtful, special, and inspiring people for their many years of friendship and support. They will all be sorely missed.
