"Stuff the Bus" Re-stocks the PRC Food Bank

In spite of the searing heat, the Pawling Rotary "Stuff the Bus” annual event took place on Sunday, July 28, and was a rousing success. The generosity of the Pawling community provided nearly 1,800 pounds of food, 3,305 diapers, and 579 rolls of paper goods. Additionally, cash donations were also collected so that the PRC could buy anything else . . .

On the morning of Saturday, July 13, athletes from far and wide gathered at Lakeside Park to participate in the 32nd Annual Pawling Triathlon. This year would see a new addition to the event with the first ever Youth Triathlon. In total, more than 200 participants came out to swim, bike, and run through Lakeside Park and the Pawling . . .
Summer Fun at the Pawling Library
On Saturday, July 13, over a thousand visitors flocked to Lakeside Park for Pawling Community Day. This year marked the second incarnation of the event, which built on the success of last year’s inaugural celebration. On Friday, July 19th, the Pawling Library hosted a Scavenger Hunt. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade competed to find objects hidden around the library. While all the competitors walked away with a small prize, the two winners of the competition earned the right to shove a pie in the face of Children's Programming . . . .
